2021 The Power of Poetry – TramsEnd Poets at Brighton

The Power of Poetry

TramsEnd Poets, a Glenelg critique group now in its fifth year, was invited by Holdfast Bay Libraries to put on a public reading on 18th March 2021. The gig — our first — was a huge success, and indications are that we may be invited to do a bigger and better reading next year.

A full post about the reading, with an introduction to our twelve poets and a sample of their marvellous poetry, will be on Wattletales Blog from 20 April.

Here are a couple of photographs taken for Wattletales on the day by our official photographer and poet extraordinaire, Martin Christmas.

Lindy (that’s me as Founder and Convenor of TramsEnd Poets) welcoming poets, friends and library members.
The reading took place in Brighton Civic Centre’s wonderful Kingston Room.
