Life Poetry Workshop — Writing from the Guts
Our footprint on this earth is fragile, fraught and sometimes frightening but it is also valuable and wonderful. Writing from the gut requires honesty and the courage to let go. This workshop was about being real on the page with fun exercises inviting people to work with their experience to come up with unique poems.

The workshop was hosted by Carolyn Cordon and Alex Robertson, convenors of Poets at the Pub 2018 in Gawler, South Australia.
As part of the Poets at the Pub’s monthly Sunday poetry meetings, I was also the guest poet and I thank Veronica Cookson for launching my second poetry chapbook, Soft Toys for Grown-ups that day.

You can find out more about this chapbook here.
